>Entries

1. The deadline is Midnight GMT 9th of July. Any entries uploaded after this deadline will not be accepted. The deadline won't be changed. (Only exeption: if 10+ people ask for an extension, the deadline may be extended by 3 days)

2. Everyone who participates may only enter once.

3. The piece you enter must be new (made after this journal is posted).

4. Entries which contain any offensive content (e.g. pornography or gore) will not be accepted.

5. Any form of art (digital and traditional painting as well as sculptures, collages, photographs, etc) is accepted.

6. If you use any stock images for photomanipulations/edits, you need to credit them properly, else the entry will not be accepted. Please add links to the original images/ artists.

7. Original characters and fanart are allowed.

8. Once you are finished with your entry, link it in the comments below. Add a link to this contest journal in your deviation's description.

9. Anyone is allowed to donate prizes (llamas, points and art). If you want to donate prizes, please send me a note or comment below!

10. Please spread the word about this contest!

Task: Listed below are 4 summer related themes (along with some terms that may help or inspire you). Choose one of these and come up with an art piece (e.g. a painting of a character, landscape, etc) that is inspired by that theme.

Judging

Winners are selected by me and my twin sister LeffiesArt. We will use the following criteria:

Creativity and Originality – Amaze us with a beautiful and creative concept/idea!

Skill – How well can you paint/draw/craft? We are looking for pieces that show off your style and skill.

Composition – The placement of key objects should be well thought through.

Use of colours –The colours you use should harmonize and fit with your chosen themes.

Overall impression – Based on our personal impressions of the pieces.
